Entry #4 Public Enemies

This film Public Enemies has been an all-time favorite of mine, to be honest, this movie right here is what made me fall in love with the old-school mafia type of movies. I think Johnny Depp really nailed this role in this film. Johny deep always does great in all the films he stars in my opinion but this one right here takes the globe for me. This movie is about a man named John Dillinger who assembled a group that robbed banks during the 1930s that is based on a true story. The film is on the violent side so it's not for everyone but if you don't mind a tad bit of violence I would definitely recommend this movie. The image below is a picture of one of the best scenes in the film in my opinion. This picture is captured from the scene of the group's first bank robbery that went south very quickly.

Johnny Depp really captures this character super well in this film and really gives a lot of emotion that will leave you almost feeling bad for John Dillinger despite what he does during the film. I really like how they kept the originality in the movie like the whole 1930s era is there and it almost feels nostalgic in a way if that makes sense. This is another favorite scene of mine below, it shows when they finally captured John Dillinger and as he arrives on a plane to Dallas where he will be imprisoned. There were so many fans that loved him and if you look back at the original photos it matches the scene super well which is even more awesome.
