So I never understood how much work it takes to be a barber. I just started cutting hair this year as a hobby but have been taking it more seriously lately. There's so much more than just learning "the fading skill" of cutting hair. There's a technique to it all that's very hard to master, and there's the sanitation area you must also understand. Not only is it about mastering the skill with your hands you also got to remember your people skills. No one is just going to sit in your chair, and you got to show why should they choose you over every other barber in your area. So this comes with learning how to market yourself and your advertising which is easy for everyone.

Have you guys ever thought about how much more goes into other careers? When I was sitting there just thinking about how much more goes into barbering the realization kicked in on how many other careers are just as hard. We don't think about all the extra work you have to put in to be in that field. We should really appreciate everyone who gives us services in any field there's a lot more work than we think and they put a lot of their time and effort into their careers.
